Sitting on the veranda yesterday eve watching the mist roll up the escarpments, The moon so bright was peeking through the Tall eucalypts appearing like stars twinkling brightly. As we watch the moon rose up over the tree top line with the mist forever changing shapes it was so magickal…

I came in to check dinner… mmm… Lamb and barley soup with winter veges..

As I walked out the back door The moon was shining so brightly and a beam of light shone down straight through the middle of out courtyard, moon light captured between some eucalyptus trees.

There is always something mystical and magickal to experience here in paradise, no matter what the season.

Mother Earth, the universe and life at it’s best.

Minutes later the moon is in full view, illuminating and lighting up the night sky. Mist and fine clouds surround the moon, the shadows of the trees becoming more enhanced as she moves higher and higher. The eucalyptus look as though they are trying to reach out and hold her, wanting to keep her close by…Looking to the west the sky is so clear and the stars so shining so brightly.

Standing under the moon bathing and taking in her beautiful Goddess energy, so enchanting and delicious… We feel re-energised.

Another beautiful site, as we stand and face the moon she is shining boldly and brightly in the sky. Directly in her path is a golden rain tree, bare branches are laden with dew and rain drops that are lit up by the moon giving the appearance of fairy lights.. I wish I could capture this on film… what a magnificent sight indeed!

We were so in awe and the moon light was so bright we went for a walk around our property, trees every where were sparkling with fairy lights, the shadows of the trees branches were stretched out as if they were guarding the magickal place.

Ohhh, what a walk, frogs singing dog at our side the air so crisp… even the grass is sparkling all around….after a time we finally came back, warmed ourselves by the fire and had a bowl of hearty soup that warmed us up indeed.

A short time after I went out to get some wood to stoke up the fire and there it was the Eclipse… what a beautiful eve, one I shall not forget!

I can not help but use jasmine in the burner with rosewater as the base…
