Do you believe, that commercial off the shelf products are beneficial for your skin? Do they prevent our skin from aging?

The answer is no, they will often give the appearance that they are, however long term use can be very damaging to your skin.

Always read the labels to see what ingredients have been used. If you see the Paraben, stay away from them is the best advice I can offer you. 

Why would you choose Natural products verses Commercial?

Countless times I have seen the words Organic, Natural, Aromatherapy, Pure Essential Oils on labels. Don’t believe what you see on the label, as I said read the list of ingredients.

More often than not you will see that there maybe SOME natural , organic ingredients and pure essential oils in products and they may be labelled ‘Aromatherapy’ only to discover that there is a whole lot of nasty potentially harmful ingredients. It really worries me as most people do not realise the difference. 

I recommend anyone that has had cancer or is at high risk stay away from such products. Parabens do not cause cancer, however research has found that they attach themselves to the carcenogenic tumors and promote their growth.

What is the point of putting beautiful pure, natural and organic ingredients into a product combined with so much rubbish? 

What I can tell you is that if a product has a long shelf life it is NOT natural. I even see labels where they have added fragrance as well as essentials! Why?

I would question the % of the essential oil for a start.

I do not claim that my products or any other products will stop your skin from aging, they can improve the condition of your skin. Pure essential oils have been proven to reduce the onset of wrinkles, some assist with elasticity and improving the integrity of your skin like Neroli, Geranium, Frankincense CO2, Carrot CO2. Other essential oils promote cell growth and stimulation, some are wound healing, they assist in hydrating e.g. Palmarosa. They can reduce scarring depends on the individual, the type of scar and where it is and how old they are. Rose is exceptionally good in skin care for its healing, cytophylactic, anti-inflammatory properties and is excellent for skin repair. 

The beauty of handmade Aromatherapy skin care products that are made up of pure essential oils and vegetable oils and beeswax is that they can be personailsed to suit your specific needs. Your skin is always changing its condition and therefor your skin care should change to suit. Diet, nutrition, seasons, health, hormones will all have an impact on your health and integrity of your skin. Pure, natural and organic (where possible) ingredients, will have a positive affect.

True natural unadulterated skincare, does not have a long shelf life, I usually recommend 6 months, however if they are kept in the appropriate conditions they will last longer.
