This is the latest story that I shot for Aromatique Essentials, an Aromatherapy skincare company.
We shot this in July, hence the Winter theme. The day started off quite stressful, our model that we had booked cancelled half an hour before we were scheduled to leave to drive to the location, so I started texting all the models I knew and asking photographer friend’s for model’s number’s. I jumped on Facebook and put up a status. Even the company I was hiring equipment from were kind enough to give me some model’s number’s!
Thankfully the beautiful Charis Uppal (with Platform Models) saw my status update - not only was she available but she had the perfect look for the concept! Phew!We were delayed by about 3 hours but everyone was ready and we set off to the meeting point before arriving at Julie’s property at Laguna in the Lower Hunter Valley.
We had to change our game plan slightly due to an increasing lack of light outside because of our time delay and we only got to shoot half of the looks we had arranged.
Nonetheless after much exhaustion we all pulled off a great shoot. I even had time to film a simple behind the scenes video to capture the action:
